Tips to help with an Anxiety attack.


Weird and Wonderful would like to help many on the voyage to finding ways to cope. You are all unique – you can all try different techniques for coping mechanisms. Find what is right for you but this is a good count down to slowing the heart rate down so you can at least concentrate on what you are doing.

1. Look around you.

2. Find 5 things to see

3. Find four things to touch

4. Find three things you can hear

5. Find two things you can smell

6. Find one thing you can taste

This is called grounding and yes it helps you to feel safe, secure and less anxious.
