I just eat it for maximum effect but studies have shown in Prevention (2016) the following:
“Brazilian scientists had participants spend five minutes inhaling one of three substances: Sweet orange essential oil, tea tree oil, or plain old water. Participants then underwent a stressful test while having their vital signs measured. Those who sniffed orange oil were less anxious throughout the test, and the beneficial effects even lingered once the exam was over.”
If you have exams and you feel really anxious or a presentation just take an orange with you. Be mindful eating the orange and slowly eat it because it works in 5 mins. This is 5 mins worth of golden free therapy. Wow! I remember taking my driving test and needing beta blockers which reduce your heart rate; I had them prescribed by the doctor. This is the cheap version. If only I knew.
