Your Relationship with yourself and the connection to the song, “The Best Of You!”

I have to confess my life is always connected to lyrics. So, let me take you on a weird and wonderful tour of my mind. My relationship with David Grohl started when I was 13 year’s old. I will not give my age away but I saw him drumming for Nirvana and this is all you need to know.

When I think about my relationship with myself. I was always told by other’s working in the meat grinding world  the following: “go the extra mile“…. “stretch myself“…. “push myself“….”apply myself“…. “further“….”harder“… “don’t give up!”….. “you can do it!”

They would treat me like I was different and stupid. Well, even my family has. The question is did I deserve it? Did I behave in a manner which meant you would always behave towards me in a very harmful manner?

Pensive moods sway my mind as I listen to “The Best of you” by the Foo Fighter’s:

As really –  David Grohl has written this in question format. So, as I am singing; I am asking myself those questions. It is really a juxtaposed effect, or, a subliminal message to yourself.

Now I have made a connection and you see the relationship with yourself, is also, defined through “The Best Of You”.

My family really do not comprehend me at all – I feel sad at times; as this is the best of me. I am really pleased within myself to be able to make connections so vividly.

I am very pleased I can smile.
