I read this post and I found it rewarding. Although many of us have barriers – communication ones. Emotional barriers are the most tiresome of all. This blog helps to overcome those barriers.

I thought it was useful for myself as I wrote a blog about 5 things deserving of the two fingers Salute: I describe the difficulty in finding a relationship out there and how I refuse to go on a dating site now.

My entire blog was created to combat the big ol’ world of dating and the cynicism it tends to give me and others. If I can find good stories and keep my head on straight, I just might survive it 🙂

I like to cook my meat before it is served to me raw! Hahahah I think it prevents many from revealing more.

Just reminds me of one of my initial questions I ask men. “If you were captured by cannibals, how would you prefer they prepare you?”
If they say barbequed with slaw and cornbread, I immediately fall in love.

The way to anyone’s heart is through the stomach. It seems gruesome but it breaks boundaries and awkward silences!

And I know that they can handle my sense of humor and not be a fuddy duddy if they play along!

I think flirtatious behaviour is a must. Especially if you do not want to reveal too much about yourself. I also feel it is not always about looks – I could be attracted to their intellectual abilities and their sense of humor. The only physical assessment I give are whether they have stunning eyes and a good behind.

I have found I don’t have a physical type. If there’s a deeper connection based on vibrations and intellect and humor and that something something that makes me really sit up and take notice, the looks (whatever they might be) tend to become the hottest thing on the planet to me.

Relationships can frequently end in a train wreck when one individual gives and the other just takes. In any case, don’t fall into the trap of contrasting each and every demonstration of giving and anticipate that it will be countered by an equivalent demonstration from the other individual. Companions in a solid relationship ought to just appreciate giving without expecting something consequently, and that goes both ways.

Completely agree! Relationships are supposed to be mutually beneficial for both. I feel that happiness stems from agreeing or accepting others. I also think that taking a girl out means, sharing a moment between you both. All that pressure can be put on people forcing them to perform and it will not happen.
